Everyone seems interested in what Marrissa Mayer (Google Product Development) is working on. I’m interested in her Nine Notions of Innovation, especially the first two. They describe the underlying principle and purpose of CATALYST perfectly.

1. Ideas come from everywhere.  We do this in a tiered system, with security controlled form the top down.  So we fudge a bit on her second notion.
2. Share everything you can. Obviously some information is private and/or sensitive.
